Using design thinking, we facilitated the reflection and planning of USAID and how they can improve the BEACON project.
How might we improve the overall processes of the BEACON project?
A 3-day workshop that focused on reflection both internally as a project member and externally on the project itself. The workshop aimed to improve the overall communication and collaboration of team members, thus impacting the overall performance of the BEACON project.
The Better Access and Connectivity (BEACON) project of the USAID aims to improve digital connectivity in the Philippines, a need highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now in its second year, the USAID BEACON team hopes to strengthen the project by reflecting on the previous wins and challenges of both individual team members and the organization.

On top of the usual design thinking workshop we do, the team modified the program and created a set of activities designed for serious internal reflection. The team also added topics on understanding one's self and others to the curriculum while the design thinking lessons were personalized to fit the context of the USAID BEACON team.
